Most of the issues are the usual diesel issues - exhaust sensors and DEF components. The engine is stout - a handful of turbos have been replaced on the forums and a couple people have needed to regularly clean the EGR. The Aisin transmission is programmed quite badly and some develop issues with slamming into gear from a stop as they pass 100k.Rock auto lists the EGR valve for $61 and the EGR cooler for $193 US. With the 2017 cruze diesel the result seems to be a bent-90-degrees pointing directly downward a metal flap wn from under the right front of the car, exposing a BIG hole in something.
