No, it wasn't a different scam. There were legit charges on my CC and both fraud at Instacart + My bank. The scam happened however 20 mins after placing an order on Instacart for the first time in 2 years. The timing is very odd, and my card was not saved in their account until that day. I've used Instacart for years with no issues, but today this exact scam happened to me, and I won't be using it again. The shopper picked out our items suspiciously quickly, and added 10x quantities to expensive items, adding on over $100 to the order.
