My existing DFI sensor looks perfect, and I don't understand why the app wouldn't be able to detect an issue with it independently. The $80 price tag for the component seems absurd and along with the wear on the globe it has me thinking of buying a whole new device. I bought the original Litter robot about 6 years ago and it was life changing.

After some research I decided it was probably a bad DFI or contact (they were gross). So, now that I've installed a brand new DFI sensor & contact pins, I'm still seeing yellow blinking at a 1 sec interval cadence. I've checked to make sure that the bonnet and connectors are attached.
